Open Settings → Metadata. Metadata and lyrics fetching are optional and off by default; TanukiVision Membership is not required.
After copying files via USB or Files, return to TanukiVision so it can scan. For cloud and network folders, open Library → Sources and confirm the account or folder is connected. Scanning may take a moment for large libraries.
Connect both devices to the same Wi‑Fi network. Start the server in Library → Sources → Wi‑Fi Transfer and keep TanukiVision running on your iPhone. On your computer, open the address shown in the app. Disable VPN or firewall rules that block local network access.
Install and sign in to the cloud app, then enable the service under Browse → … → Edit in the Files app. TanukiVision reads cloud folders through Files—if a service isn't listed there, it won't appear when you add a source either.
Open Library → Sources, sign out of the affected cloud account, then connect it again with +. For Dropbox, a development warning during beta is normal—tap Continue to proceed.
Double-check the server address, username, and password. For SMB shares, use the share path shown by your NAS or router and stay on the same local network. WebDAV may require HTTPS and an app-specific password from your provider.
TanukiVision supports common audio formats including MP3, FLAC, AAC, and ALAC. DRM-protected or corrupted files may not play—try converting or re-importing the file.
